MENDON – UPTON REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held in February. To enter Kindergarten in the fall, your child must be five years old on or before August 31, 2012. H.P. Clough School in Mendon and Memorial School in Upton will hold informational evening meetings for parents of students entering Kindergarten. The district offers Regular, Full Day, Extended Day, and Spanish Immersion Kindergarten. All of these options will be discussed at the informational meeting; there will be time for questions and answers, and registration packets will be available. If you are unable to attend the informational meeting, please stop into the school office to pick up a registration packet and make an appointment to come in and register your child. Packets will be available beginning on January 3, 2012. Children do not need to be present at registration. Proof of residence, birth certificate, and immunization records are required at registration.
In Mendon, the informational evening will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at the H.P. Clough School cafeteria at 6:00pm. Kindergarten registration will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 15 and 16, 2012. If school should be cancelled due to inclement weather on February 8, the Informational meeting will be rescheduled to Thursday, February 9.
In Upton, the Informational Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Memorial School Cafeteria at 6:00 pm. Kindergarten registration will be on Wednesday and Thursday February 15 and 16, 2012. If school should be cancelled due to inclement weather on February 9, the Informational Meeting will be rescheduled to Monday, February 13.
